Let go and feel good about food again

Hey y’all! Kamber here!

 A little about me:

I went to Oklahoma State University for undergrad. (GO POKES FOREVER!) I recently finished my Masters of Public Health in Nutrition at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine where I also completed my dietetics internship. In my spare time you’ll find me at my safe haven, Girl’s Gone Buff, hanging out with my dog, at a happy hour with friends, or really doing anything social.

When I thought about my brand name, I wanted something that represented me. Something that made people feel free. Something that made people happy. Something that challenged societal norms. Something that made people feel empowered.

When you think of a party what do you think of? Birthday cake, comfort foods, drinks, friend, and family? All things that bring me the most joy. To me, a party is a prime example of the social aspect of food, which is something that can do a multitude of things— bring joy, feel comfort, or scare the shit out of you.

If you look at the definition of party it can be anything —a happy hour with friends, your sister’s birthday party, your murder mystery night, or even a picnic in the park. Now look at yourself and your life—have you ever said no to any of these things out of fear of losing control around the food involved? Brought your own food to make sure you did not go overboard on chips and dips? Turned down cake because it scared you or made you feel guilty?

My passion? Helping navigate you into food freedom. Why? Because life is too short to turn down the cake.

I can’t wait to See you soon!
